About the role
Reporting to the Global Alliance Director based in London you will assist the Global Alliance team with tasks as appropriate. The Global Alliance Intern has responsibility for the following: • Researching prospects – foundations and major donors • Research and assistance with funding proposals as required. • Assistance with funder reporting and data gathering as required. • Research as appropriate in advance of meetings etc. • A once-weekly news e-mail to the Global Alliance Team to include news relating to: − International Leadership Council Members − TCG Board of Directors (globally) − Individuals from the Primary Prospect List − Foundations from the Current Prospect spreadsheet − Others as agreed with GA team • Assistance with updates to fundraising database
About you
A motivated, self-starter who is able to interact confidently with a range of staff and manage your own workload. Applications are encouraged from post-grad students or recent graduates with environmental, development, economic, political, science, technology, communications or business qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates that can work 3-5 days per week. Placements are normally for three months. The positions are unpaid but appropriate lunch and travel costs within Greater London are covered.
