Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Communication Strategy - develop a strategy for the development and promotion of the IHN model as a planning tool within the GCV region.

2. Training - Deliver a training programme on the IHN across 8 GCV local authorities and other agencies/relevant parties.

3. GIS – provide guidance on the use and establishment of GIS tools for the IHN.

4. Advice - Act as the “one stop shop” for IHN enquiries.

5. Funding - identify funding resources available to partners to deliver IHN projects and liaise with the relevant organisations and groups for their delivery. Commission and manage individual research projects required for the delivery of the Integrated Habitat Network.

6. Data management - review the data underpinning the IHN, develop and implement a costed programme of updates.

7. Project development – develop a programme of projects, guided by the steering partners

a. to demonstrate the value of the IHN modelling tool to guide development
b. to expand coverage of the tool into land ownership currently not included in the model.
