Sequence is seeking a Senior Business Development Associate in the Eastern United States to oversee business development and sales activities for one of the leading greenhouse gas (GHG) verification, professional services / software firms in the country. The ideal individual would have a minimum of 7+ years experience in GHG verification sales; marketing services to fortune 100 / 500 corporations, utilities, municipalities and government agencies. Responsible for conducting lead generation, prospect qualification, proposal development and contract negotiations with clients. Must be able to manage client relationship activities aimed at solving complex business issues and delivering client solutions in the GHG verification market vertical. The Senior Business Development Associate will report directly to the Vice President and be charged with conceptualizing, expressing and delivering value propositions and demand for professional and software solutions within the territory; focusing in on creating target prospect accounts and converting them to successful clients through sales engagements and cross selling activities. Candidates must enjoy making extensive in-person and tele-presence presentations to “C” level executives, conducting campaign and trade show event activities, as needed. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science or related discipline. MBA desired. Strong written and verbal communication abilities required. Position can be based in any major eastern United States city, preference given to New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC based candidates.
