Our client has built up an outstanding record in the railway geotechnics discipline over the many years of its involvement within the industry. An experienced Geotechnical Section Manager is required to initiate, develop and manage a new section within the team at York. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to be involved in exciting multi-disciplinary projects. You will act as Supply Manager on small projects and be responsible for delivery to budget and programme. You will also be technically responsible for geotechnics design, studies and reports. You will have successfully supervised geotechnical teams and have proven project management experience. You will have experience of tendering and developing new business having held a similar position in an engineering consultancy. Educated to degree level or equivalent and ideally a Chartered Engineer, you will have strong commercial awareness and good project management experience. You should have previous relevant experience of working in the rail industry. |
