URS is a leading global engineering and environmental consultancy. As part of our growth in the Middle East, our operations in Saudi Arabia are recruiting an Experienced Geotechnical Engineer.
Duties, amongst others, will include: • To project manage a range of geotechnical field investigations and traditional geotechnical analyses including but not limited to foundations analyses and design, landslides analyses and stabilization designs, retaining walls analyses and design. • To prepare reports, drawings, and specifications for foundations, earth retention systems, slopes and embankments, tunnels, pipelines and dams. • To use technical knowledge to effectively manage and execute project tasks and deliverables to high level of quality. To undertake project management, contract management, client liaison and budget control • To prepare construction documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates Successful candidates will have: • Minimum of 5-10 years experience as geotechnical/civil engineer on construction and earthwork projects and developments. • Demonstrable experience in the areas of stability analysis, site investigation and foundation design • Ability to project manage complex projects with excellent communication skills • Good first degree in Geotechnical/Civil Engineering. Masters degree in Geotechnical Engineering preferred.
