- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Job description: The project origination aspect of the job will mainly involve desktop studies to create a database of potential CAES sites in Europe based on geology and infrastructure. In the course of your work you will also develop a broad understanding of technology, markets and planning limitations and opportunities relevant to CAES. On a project-specific level you will liaise with consultants and communicate with stakeholders and Government Departments. For exploration projects you will assist with defining appropriate programs and budgets. If drilling is required there may be an opportunity for rig time. An essential part of your duties will entail the compilation of applications for major EU grants, which play a key role in funding CAES projects at this stage of the technology life cycle.
