Ducks Unlimited seeks a motivated candidate to provide mapping and GIS support forits conservation and fundraising efforts in the Great Plains Region. This one-year position will be stationed in the Great Plains Regional Office in Bismarck, North Dakota. The GIS Intern will participate in the development of GIS-based, habitat conservation targeting models and the development and quality control of wetland delineation projects requiring interpretation of aerial photography. The GIS Intern will be responsible for maintenance of ArcSDE geo-databases (SQL Server) and cartographic development of a diverse array of mapping products required by biologists, engineers, and administrators in the Great Plains Regional Office. The GIS Intern will be expected to meet project deadlines and communicate independently and effectively with GPRO staff. Some fieldwork is required.Minimum Qualifications:
