General Manager NSW / ACT

Greening Australia is a national, not-for-profit environmental organization with a mission to conserve and restore landscapes at scale through collaborative, science-based and innovative conservation programs.   

The General Manager NSW / ACT will be responsible for providing senior management and strategic leadership across our NSW and ACT operations. The position will receive direct reports from business unit and operations managers across the areas of conservation programs & science, environmental services, native nurseries and seed, training and education and community engagement and volunteering. Key areas of responsibility will include financial performance, business development, people and culture, asset management, client relationships and Work Health and Safety.

The successful applicant will have at least 10 years’ relevant general management experience with large operational budgets and line managed staff including business development and fund-raising success. An understanding of environmental issues and programs across NSW and ACT is also desirable.
