GC/MS Chemist - Laboratory Supervisor - Enviro – Los Angeles

Sequence is seeking a GC/MS Chemist to lead an environmental laboratory testing operations in the Los Angeles, California region.

The ideal individual would have at least 7+ years of experience working in an environmental laboratory performing testing of water and soil samples to EPA (EPA Method 8260B) and quality control standards. This will include providing oversight to laboratory testing operations, maintaining sample protocols, reviewing sample data results, maintaining equipment and performing testing as necessary.

Additional responsibilities will include assisting the laboratory director in all activities necessary of smooth daily operations, which may include operating the mobile laboratory, directing staff chemists, interacting with clients, and generating reports as needed.

Requires a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or related disciplines. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
