Fundraising Sales - Part-Time Contract

Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), the leader in wetland conservation, is seeking an outgoing and energetic salesperson to lead the growth and execution of its Sealed Bid Auction (SBA) program in Prince Edward Island.

The Sealed Bid Auction (SBA) Specialist will sell businesses on a unique fundraising partnership with DUC and will provide ongoing superior customer service to this already established territory. The Sealed Bid Auction program consists of easels with artwork for auction. The incumbent would be responsible for approaching businesses and securing easel locations throughout their territory, then servicing and maintaining the easels and closing auctions on a regular basis.

Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills have contributed to your success as an outstanding sales representative for the past two years. To be successful in this position you must have a computer and Internet access, be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite of programs and be able to work independently. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for weekly travel throughout the area are required. Cold calling skills are essential for this position. Knowledge of DUC’s vision and a passion for conservation would be considered definite assets.

This is a contractual, home-based position.
