Description

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated, experienced fundraiser to work closely with our Chief Executive (CEO) to help raise new income from a range of corporate partnerships and grow existing income streams to support the Bumblebee Conservation Trust’s work.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in fundraising and who wants to play an important role in the growth of one of the UK’s most dynamic conservation charities.

Based at our offices in Eastleigh, Hampshire, the successful candidate will have experience in a fundraising, charity or sales and marketing environment and demonstrable experience of negotiating, closing deals and working towards an income target.  They will also be able to demonstrate excellent research skills, have a positive track record in securing funding and be able to recognise and pursue new funding opportunities.

You will be an experienced communicator with exceptional writing skills, ideally with a qualification in English at A level or higher and / or proven experience writing inspiring and engaging copy.  You will have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach to your work, and an ability to enthuse people about the plight of our bumblebees.

This is a full time position offered on an initial 10 month contract with a view to extending based on success.
