Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), the leader in wetland conservation, is looking for a dynamic, outgoing individual to join our management team.  If you thrive on co-ordinating grassroots events including workplace and community fundraising initiatives, then Ducks wants to hear from you!  Your exceptional communication skills, creativity and organizational skills will be put to good use while you manage a team of volunteers across your business area.  You are innovative, adaptive to change, enjoy a fast-paced environment and you thrive on tight deadlines.

Your five years of experience in sales, marketing or business relations make you the ideal candidate for this position, which will be located at our Fredericton, New Brunswick office.  Your strong leadership skills and ability to influence a wide variety of individuals will allow you to grow our volunteer ranks easily.  Your emotional intelligence and ability to see the bigger conservation picture will make you a great asset to our team.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in sales, marketing or business.
  • Bilingualism in the French and English languages would be an asset.
  • Experience in staff management.
  • Ability to foster key relationships, experience in a cross-functional setting, proven success in building teams and demonstrated effectiveness in developing skills in employees.
  • Proven ability to recruit, retain and motivate people.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends and travel frequently throughout the province.
  • Previous volunteer work and fundraising experience would be valuable.
  • Familiarity with the non-profit or environmental conservation sectors are definite assets.
