Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), Canada’s most trusted and respected wetland conservation organization, is looking for a dynamic, fun-loving manager to join our team in Alberta. Please apply by June 10, 2011.

Your five years of experience in sales, marketing or business relations make you the ideal candidate for this position, which can be located from our Edmonton or Camrose offices or from your home in Lloydminster, Alta. You are a strong leader who can play with anyone in the schoolyard. Your ability to influence and guide people means you will grow our volunteer ranks easily. Your emotional intelligence and ability to see the bigger conservation picture will make you a great asset to our team.

Requirements:

  • A post-secondary education in sales, marketing or business.
  • Experience in staff management.
  • Ability to foster key relationships, experience in a cross-functional setting, proven success in building teams and demonstrated effectiveness in developing skills in employees.
  • Proven ability to recruit, retain and motivate people.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends and travel frequently throughout the business area.
  • Previous volunteer work and fundraising experience would be valuable.
  • Familiarity with the non-profit or environmental conservation sectors are definite assets.
