WildAid is a leading international NGO working to end the illegal and unsustainable wildlife trade by reducing demand for wildlife parts and products through multi-media, public awareness campaigns.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic intern to assist with all aspects of fundraising and development.

Core responsibilities will include:

- develop and implement an online communications plan including awareness raising activities and fundraising

- write and submit funding proposals to trusts and foundations, develop and maintain links with potential local and international donors and maintain a database to keep record of such

- assist with planned fundraising and outreach events as well as researching and implementing new events, both to raise awareness of WildAid and increase funds

- assist with WildAid media campaigns by researching and drafting short films scripts and acquiring footage and imagery

- draft copy for external communications including UK website, supporter newsletters and marketing materials

WildAid’s London office operates with a small team and candidates should be flexible, autonomous and prepared to take part in all areas of WildAid work.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and organised with excellent administration and communication skills as well as proven marketing / communications and/or fundraising experience. An interest in wildlife conservation and WildAid aims is essential.

Working from our London office, your time at WildAid will give you invaluable experience working for a leading international NGO responsible for numerous high-profile international media campaigns.

This position is for a 3 month period, working 2-3 days per week. Although the position is unpaid, a contribution towards travel within Greater London and a lunch allowance are provided.
