Fundraiser

Job Type:

Fundraising and donor development; marketing; supporter relations; adoption schemes; mailshots; other activities as directed.

Duties include:

• Helping to create key messages for fundraising and communications
• Executing the fundraising programme, which includes
• Assistance with donor database/motivation
• Assisting organisation of direct mail campaigns
• Development of corporate relationships and sponsorship
• Grant applications
• Merchandising
• Volunteer programme and supporter development

Qualifications and Qualities:

• Although working to direction, this role requires a proactive, self-starter, who can contribute to the development of the organisation’s fundraising activities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years development/fundraising experience.
• Excellent English and communication skills – written, oral and presentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills; attention to detail
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, especially Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge database (although some training given).
• Commitment to the aims and objectives of ADI.
• Vegetarian preferred.
