SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Lab Director will be responsible for coordinating and conducting all testing for the Greenpeace US Frontline canvass program, including both door and street canvassing.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Frontline Lab Director will be responsible for developing, implementing & analyzing all tests within the Frontline program. The goal of these tests will be to increase the overall performance & efficiency of the Frontline program, and to assist in the rapid expansion of our door and street canvass models.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1.  Be an active part of the Frontline leadership team, working in tandem with the leadership to develop goals & priorities for the Frontline program
  2.  Develop effective tests for all aspects of the program to ensure efficiency and the program’s ability to maximize long-term return on investment of the Frontline program by decreasing our cost/donor
  3. Weekly report on results and effectiveness of testing and be ready to offer recommendations to NCD and leadership team based on quantifiable data
  4. Develop and assist in the training of City Coordinators
  5. Conduct site visits to offices conducting tests to determine veracity of field tests. 
  6. Work with the international fundraising team to share ideas and best practices
  7. Be an active participant in tests via personal canvassing
  8. Work to innovate new methodologies of fundraising
  9. Work to develop models and trainings that will increase fundraising
  10. Work closely with the leadership team around developing the GPUS Frontline model
  11. Participate in national training, core meetings & departmental retreats

QUALIFICATIONS

  •  Ability to think both strategically and creatively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to work well with a diverse range of individuals and organizations
  • Articulate with solid written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to build and manage teams
  • Strategic planning and the capacity to fulfill those plans
  • Commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Proven skills in coordinating controlled tests

EXPERIENCE/ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • 3+ years fundraising canvass experience at with at least one year of overseeing multiple fundraising offices
  • Track record of implementing tests and analyzing data
  • Ability to work well within a diverse organization
