Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience working with Exmoor National Park Authority and the Forestry Commission?
Working with the Woodland Team, part of the Conservation and Land Management Section, you will assist the Woodland Officer with the management of the National Park Authority's 575 ha woodland estate, including Forestry Commission Grant and Licensing work. You will also assist in delivering ENPA's planning responsibilities in respect of Tree Preservation Orders and trees in Conservation Areas. The post holder will partake in training and development opportunities offered as part of the post. You will need to have a degree in forestry or a related discipline, and the successful candidate is likely to have gained some relevant work experience within forestry, arboriculture or countryside management.
