The Land and Fire Forest Planning Officer (Cultural Heritage) plays a key role in the protection of Aboriginal and non Aboriginal Cultural Heritage on public land. On-ground inspections of Cultural Heritage sites along with site protection recommendations are a key part of this role. You will be required to liaise with Indigenous communities, Aboriginal Affairs Victoria (AAV), Heritage Victoria and other organisations to provide advice and support on land and fire management activities as they relate to the protection of indigenous and non indigenous cultural heritage.
