Position Summary: 

The Forest Management (FM) Specialist, Quebec will be responsible for the oversight all of RA-Cert engagements in forest management certification within Quebec. S/he will act as a senior representative of RA-Cert for government agencies, First Nations, ENGOs and the forestry industry. S/he will identify new opportunities for RA-Cert within the Quebec forestry sector and will be a leader in identifying and developing potential new RA-Cert services. The FM Specialist will make and/or weigh in on major certification decisions and ensure the consistent implementation of RA-Cert’s policies and procedures. The FM Specialist will also serve as RA-Cert’s resource for policies, systems, quality, and training for the FM team in Quebec and work closely with the FM Coordinator in managing RA-Cert’s FM activities across Canada. S/he will also be responsible for participating in projects as a lead auditor, as needed.
