Forest Creation Manager

(This is a full time, permanent post of 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will be appointed within the SEO salary range of £35,540 - £40,411 per annum.)

We are now seeking a talented and experienced Forest Creation Manager. You will be responsible for delivering ambitious forest creation targets in support of the Governments 25-year Environment Plan, the National Forest Vision, and our Corporate Plan. Including the successful implementation of our Nature for Climate Fund programme, through tailored grants and incentives, over the next five years. Managing a small team, you will also have responsibility for our woodland and habitat management, and woodland economy programmes.

The role requires a strategic, outcome-driven, and collaborative approach to maximise new opportunities for land-use change across the National Forest. Strong and effective relationships will be developed with national and local strategic partners, farmers, and other landowners to ensure the right incentives are in place and that the take-up of these incentives is maximised.
