The Soil Association is the UK's leading membership environmental charity campaigning for people and planet-friendly food and farming. They are lead partner in the Food for Life Partnership, a programme developed to actively transform food culture in schools.

We are looking for an experienced Communication and Events Officer join the Food for Life Partnership central team to support the delivery of our Events and Communications strategy.

Reporting to the Communication & School Awards Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of key areas of the communication plan, including developing relationships and briefing local media and maintaining awareness of FFLP through social and digital media channels. You will also be responsible for the management and delivery of events for the programme as well as providing administrative support to the team.

You will have experience in communications, particularly digital and social media, and a strong track record in delivering successful events. Excellent project management, the ability to work to frequent deadlines and strong administration skills are essential.
