Description

Food for Life Partnership Commissioning Manager – South and South West

Fixed term contract until 31 March 2013
Minimum 3 days a week
£31,448 pro rata

We are looking for a confident and experienced person to join our team.  Your role will be to secure further local commissions for the Food for Life Partnership as well as support a small team of Programme Managers who are delivering the Food for Life Partnership in local areas in the South West – with the flexibility to work across the wider South of England if required.

With substantial project management experience working in public health, schools or local authorities, as well as experience of commissioning, and team management, you will have excellent communication and presentation skills that you’ll use to sell the benefits of FFLP and expand our programme.

The Food for Life Partnership brings together the expertise of four food-focused charities. During the last five years we have engaged over 4,000 schools across England. The task now is to move away from grant funding to service provider, and we are supported by the BIG Lottery Fund during 2012/13 to support this transition.
