Fishing Vessel Trip Report (FVTR) Data Entry Supervisor

I.M. Systems Group, Inc. (IMSG), www.imsg.com, a Federal Government Contractor in Rockville, MD is seeking a Fishing Vessel Trip Report (FVTR) Data Entry Supervisor to work at a government office in Gloucester, MA.  Will serve the dual function of (1) data entry and quality control, and (2) task lead and supervisor of the on-site data entry team.

Duties:

• directly contribute to all aspects of FVTR data entry activities;
• track backlog levels and team production rates and maintain desirable levels;
• coordinate and conduct batch scanning, verify lists, and check corrections and incoming mail periodically;
• obtain and distribute incoming mail;
• verify and distribute any indexing or data entry errors; and
• respond to JIRA issues and formalize any required monthly reports for IMSG and/or the client.

In addition to primary responsibilities associated with the Data Entry Staff, the Supervisor will:

• execute and perform a weekly, web-based audit for quality control purposes;
• prepare and distribute weekly FVTR team meeting agenda to all related staff; and
• serve as back up SCOQR processer when needed.

Qualifications:

As a pre-requisite, the candidate should show full comprehension of all processes and programs and exceed normal expectations set for IMSG Data Entry staff.  The candidate will communicate effectively and clearly both individually and within a team in order to reach desired goals.

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with NOAA FVTR process and requirements
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
