Fisheries Monitoring Centre Operations Manager
As the Operations Manager of the Fisheries Monitoring CentreTeam in Newcastle you will have responsibility for co-ordinating, planning and tasking of surface and aerial surveillance and managing the relevant contracts. You will ensure effective risk managed enforcement of marine activities in English waters and participation with other neighbouring member states through joint deployment plans. You will oversee the operational requirements for the vessel monitoring system and provide legislative and technical advice to coastal teams and surveillance contractors. You will also manage out of hours duty officer roster, providing updates and training to staff and participate in sea duties and National Maritime Information Centre.
