Description

The Forum Fisheries Agency is seeking an energetic, self-motivated and enthusiastic professional with the relevant experience and qualification to become part of our Fisheries Management Team. 

This job exists to provide advice and support to FFA member countries in the development and implementation of effective national, subregional and regional tuna fisheries management arrangements that support their sustainable development aspirations. 

The primary role for the Fisheries Management Advisor involves the provision of technical advice to FFA members, research and development, fishery management and networking relationships. 

The successful applicant will be expected to have a minimum qualification of a Degree in fisheries management, natural resource management, fisheries science (or other related field) relevant to the demands of the role. 

A remuneration package at Band 12 of the FFA Salary Structure will be provided to the successful applicant. The starting salary is at USD$78,540 including Location Allowance and COLDA (Cost of Living Differencial Allowance) per annum. The salary is tax free for nationals of most countries and there are additional allowances and benefits. See details provided for full information and the employment package offered.
