Primary Responsibilities:
- Consult and assist on financial models, annual budget processes and semi-annual reforecast processes; to support decision making, consistency across program types, and granularity of support documents allowing for clear understanding of assumptions and facilitating monthly tracking
- Work in concert with department heads and the Director of FPA to review leading financial and performance indicators to better explain and anticipate financial variances
- Provide support/analysis, as needed, for the month-end closing process
- Analyze financial results and indicators with program management to identify variances, trends, threats and opportunities in a timely manner for presentation to the Director of FPA
- Prepare and report on economic viability of programs
- Coach/mentor SCA managers on financial and program quantification (verses qualitative) metrics
- Coordinate with the Billing Manager necessary documentation to support ongoing billing needs and billing requirements driven by new/changing program structures
- Maintain and upgrade pricing calculator(s)
- Coordinate and implement “real time” revenue and expense tracking
- Act as liaison with business development, advancement and finance to track funding needs and opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of job-related experience or 5 or more years of relevant experience
- Ability to work well within a cross-departmental team; strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary required
- Knowledge of financial statement preparation, analysis, management reporting, and budgeting required
- Proficient with internal data base systems required; SalesForce, helpful
- Willingness to travel 1-2 times per year
- Valid driver’s license and MVR that meets SCA standards required
- Ability to meet SCA’s criminal background check standard
