Description 
We are seeking a qualified professional accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
for a short term contract to cover a maternity absence. You will work in
a small team of finance staff at BirdLife&rsquo;s Cambridge office, and
report to the Financial Controller.  The work will focus around support
of BirdLife&rsquo;s international offices and projects.  This will include
the integration of overseas branch accounts into consolidated management
accounts, providing support to non-finance staff in producing, reviewing
and managing budgets. It may also include reporting to funders, statutory
accounting, systems reviews and other ad-hoc tasks.

You will need to possess excellent communications and personal skills, and
a flexible approach to problem solving, and initiative.  You should be fluent
in English and have good computer literacy, especially with spreadsheets.
 Knowledge of Charities accounting and regulations is an advantage.
