Essex Wildlife Trust is the county’s leading conservation charity. It has more than 38,000 members, manages and protects over 8,400 acres of land on 87 nature reserves, 2 nature parks and runs 11 visitor centres. The aim of Essex Wildlife Trust is to Protect Wildlife for the Future and for the People of Essex. It is supported financially by members, local businesses and grant making organisations. It is one of the largest of the 46 Wildlife Trusts that work together throughout the British Isles as The Wildlife Trusts. We have an exciting opportunity for a level 3 AAT qualified or qualified by experience Finance Assistant to join our team. You must be able to work in a fast- paced environment and juggle priorities, working 30 hours per week across Monday to Friday. Responsibilities will include: Processing Sales/Purchase Invoices and Orders, reconciling supplier, bank & intercompany statements, reconciling cash sheets, credit control, assisting with management accounts balance sheet and profit & loss reconciliations and query solving across the ledgers. Provide support to our visitor centre teams and Trust staff with finance education. Must have a sharp eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
