 FINANCE AND OFFICE MANAGER

Part Time: 24 hours per week

£23,500 pro rata

Are you an experienced finance manager with the ability to manage bespoke financial systems and processes?

 Are you an effective planner and organiser with a determination to succeed?

Are you a friendly and effective communicator equally adept at using email and the telephone to build relationships with colleagues, suppliers, donors and supporters?

The International Tree Foundation (ITF) is a small charitable company that runs tree planting and education programmes in the UK and Africa. ITF supports community-led projects that protect, plant and promote trees and forests in order to preserve biodiversity and habitats, reverse deforestation, improve livelihoods and tackle climate change.

The Finance and Office Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective managment of the ITF finances and head office. Key duties include:

  • Ensuring accurate and efficient management of the organisation’s finances.
  • Compiling monthly finance reports for the Director and Board of Trustees, including cash flow statements and forecasts, income and expenditure accounts and bank reconciliations.
  • Processing grant payments and international money transfers.
  • Preparing financial reports for donors.
  • Ongoing maintenance of HR, charity and company records.
  • Managing all aspects of ITF’s office (equipment, supplies, insurance) and IT services.

This is a part time position based at our office in Three Bridges, Crawley, West Sussex. There is some scope for flexibility in the days worked. The salary offered is £23,500 per annum pro rata for a 24 hour week and a pension scheme will be introduced to employees from April 2015.
