Description

The Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity (ACCB) at Kbal Spean is the first Nature Conservation Centre in Cambodia. Its aim is to contribute to the preservation of wildlife and biodiversity, mainly in the northwest of the country. A rescue and breeding facility for threatened wildlife and an environmental education programme aimed at the local population as well as national and international visitors are the heart of the ACCB.

We are currently looking for a temporary field biologist to coordinate field surveys in North West Cambodia and possibly further afield.

This position is for a field biologist with good organisational skills to coordinate and carry out our research full time in those areas with a team.

 

Starting date/ duration:

The contract will be offered as a seasonal contract, starting as soon as possible until the end of May 2014, and from September until December 2014, on a compensatory volunteer basis (social insurance contributions will not be covered).
