Job Title: Field Sales Manager, Solar
Reports To: CT Sales Manager
Department: Solar
FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: New Haven, CT


Next Step Living, Massachusetts' most respected Energy Conservation Company, is seeking qualified candidates for their energy saving Solar sales team in Connecticut.  Our unique market approach has created an ample supply of qualified leads with interested Home Owners. 

Responsibilities:
• Face-to-face interaction with various decision makers.
• Delivery of in-person interactive sales presentations.
• Ride with advisors to provide constructive feedback on their sales process.
• Provide appraisals, evaluations, discussions, reprimands, earnings, commitments, etc. on each salesperson to Sales Manager.
• Meet with Sales Manager weekly to discuss team and progress.
• Attend and lead on-going sales meetings.
• Provide ongoing sales training, team building and mentorship.
• Ability to thrive in a competitive atmosphere.
• Opportunity to be trained for a future management role within existing or new markets.

Qualifications:
• 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably with a short sales cycle.
• College degree is preferred.
• Strong technical skills, including MS Office applications are required. Experience with CRMs, including Salesforce.com is a plus.
• Must have a strong work ethic; be self-disciplined, with a strong desire to succeed.
• Excellent verbal and organizational skills are required.
• Must be adaptable and eager to learn.
