We are looking for a qualified and experienced field worker to continue a programme to monitor all aspects of the wild population of houbara (C. macqueenii) in Uzbekistan.

The field research project is a long term one and will eventually include analysis of data from satellite tracking of wild and released birds and management of the release of captive-bred birds.

Applicants should have field experience, off road driving experience and a valid driving license.

Proposed start date would be October 1st, 2009. Proposed duration of the initial contract would be 2 years.
