Field Guide in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park

The successful candidate will undertake game drives, perform marketing activities at the camps, assist with 4x4 guiding when necessary, take guests out on guided walks and lead an overnight walking trail.

Candidates must have experience as a field guide in a dangerous game area, be registered with DEAT, have a sound knowledge of fauna and flora, and be bilingual in English and Afrikaans. Possession of a valid Code 10 driver’s licence, a Professional Driver’s Permit (PDP), an Advanced Weapons Handling Certificate, a First Aid Level 1 certificate and THETA TGSP 3/NQF 2 are also required.
