Eligible candidates must be students and/or be able to get an internship agreement from their school/university. Graduated students’ applications will not be considered unless a contract can still be signed with their educational institution and/or they get a grant from a programme (ERASMUS+, Eurodyssee…).

Main Missions

PROJECT MANAGEMENT   COMMUNICATIONS
The intern will be integrated in the Covenant of Mayors team within FEDARENE. (www.eumayors.eu). S/he will participate to most of the activities performed within this contract.  
1. Organise a follow-up campaign (update contacts, raise awareness on the initiative…) after each municipal elections.
2. Support the helpdesk in answering questions from cities/provinces/regions, in drafting guidelines for local authorities.
3. Support the organization of capacity building events/webinars for local and regional authorities.
4. Support in other FEDARENE activities		   The intern will assist the communication officer in the communication activities of the organisation.  
1. Manage the bimonthly FEDARENE newsletter, actively moderate the Website and other communication channels, including social networks.
2. Support the promotion and organisation of the Roger Léron Award which celebrates outstanding contributions to sustainable energy.
3. Support the communication related to FEDARENE’s European projects
4. Support in other activities: general data base management, events organisation…

 

Required profile

  • Student in Environmental sciences / Economics / Communication / Journalism / Political Sciences
  • Excellent spoken & written English (C1)
  • Knowledge of Italian, Spanish or French is a plus
  • Autonomous, creative, proactive
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and especially MS Excel (Project Management Intern)
  • Perfect command of Twitter and LinkedIn (Communications Intern)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, WordPress and/or Mailchimp is an asset (Communications Intern)
