Description

Looking for a new start? Come and work at Harrogate Borough Council.

Our values guide everything we do, and everything we do has an impact on the people who live here.

Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is looking for an experienced part-time Administrator to join the AONB team to support delivery of the Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme. Created by Defra, and managed by AONB and National Park teams across the country, FiPL will help farmers, land managers and others to deliver work on the farmed landscape under the themes of climate, nature, people and place.

We are looking for someone who is organised, has an eye for detail and is good at all aspects of project administration including accurately monitoring budgets. The role-holder will ensure the smooth running of the Farming in Protected Landscapes programme administration, working closely with the two other members of the FiPL team.

You will be based at Nidderdale AONB’s office in Pateley Bridge where you will be part of a team who work on natural and cultural heritage projects with a wide range of partners. A full driving license and access to a car is essential.

This is a part time role of approximately 22 hours per week, which can be adjusted depending on the availability and skills of the applicant. We operate a flexible working scheme.

For further information please contact Iain Mann, Nidderdale AONB Manager, via email at iain.mann@harrogate.gov.uk

Closing date for Applications: 30 June 2021
Interviews to be held on: 13 July 2021
