• Representing FOUR PAWS and its demands around animal welfare and meat reduction on EU and international podiums as well as in the media
• Implementing and expanding a relevant network with political decisionmakers in Brussels as well as at the UN and other international forums with a focus on the one welfare concept especially regarding animal welfare and meat reduction
• Implementing FOUR PAWS campaigns and strategy that includes both a convincing vision and smart goals and an ambitious but realistic schedule
• Drafting position papers on political statements concerning Farm Animals
• Organising personal meetings as well as public discussions and events
• Observing the political landscape closely and identify starting points for our demands

• Degree in e.g. in political science, philosophy, law, agricultural science, biology or equivalent experience
• Several years of professional experience in lobbying or advocacy work on farm animals, sustainable farming, or related topics
• Fluent written and verbal English skills
• A network within the relevant EP committees, Commission DGs and associations
• A strategical and ambitious mindset and a good eye for what is feasible
• A communicative, eloquent, and obliging personality who enjoys negotiating with established personalities on an equal footing
• A heart for animal welfare and you identify with our goals and values
