Within this context we are currently looking for a an Investments and Climate Change Expert to join the team.
Tasks and responsibilities
Leading teams of dedicated experts
Managing a portfolio of consulting & project engagements on investments and climate change
Plan projects and assign project teams with necessary know-how and skill set to ensure the most efficient and highest quality implementation of our mandates
Supervise and guide the project teams in the implementation of our mandates
Supporting our key account management team in business development
Shape proposals with the responsible key account managers and customers
Participate in client meetings to provide product ideas and services that match their needs and our capabilities
Contribute with technical input to product development processes and discussions
Help to shape SPG's strategy in the field of Investments and Climate Change
Enrich and enlarge SPG's service offering, particularly for financial sector clients
Ensure information exchange and know-how transfer, mentor and train our consultants
Development of concepts and methodologies for new corporate consulting opportunities within the topic of investment and climate change
Your profile
A university degree, ideally in Economics, Finance, Sustainable Finance or related disciplines
At least 7 years of relevant work experience in project management and business development with regard to consulting in sustainable finance and investments
Experience in team management, especially in international context
Diligent, reliable and independent approach to work and ability to act as a team leader in a multicultural environment
Commercial skills and good business sense to be able to identify and seize opportunities in a challenging and competitive market environment
Sound understanding of sustainability challenges in finance and investments, especially with climate impact and risk assessments for investments
Specific experience in understanding and working with different asset types
Awareness of current policy developments in regards to divesting and sustainable investment disclosure regulations
Proven knowledge and network in the relevant fields
Excellent oral and written command of English. Excellent German and French language skills are a strong advantage
Extensive coordination, project management, proposal writing and presentation skills
