Qualifications

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Use engineering principles to calculate momentum, heat and mass balances, preliminary economic cash flow, net present value, internal rate of return, payback period for preliminary designs to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases from the oil and natural gas industry
  • Develop presentations on technologies and operating/maintenance practices
  • Draft memos, letters and technical reports
  • Research data sources, such as EIA (Energy Information Agency) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency)
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control reviews in accordance with IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change) standards
Basic Qualifications: 
  • Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering and 20+ years of experience
  • 20+ years of professional work experience in the Oil and Natural Gas Industry
Professional Skills:
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management team
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
