Expert 1&2 -TL - Senior Climate Change and Environment

Requested profile / Qualification

The team will be composed of two senior experts demonstrating an extensive knowledge of international Climate Change issues, in a scientific, institutional, political and financial point of view.

Expert 1 (Senior, Team Leader): Master Degree in the field of Environment and Climate Change, or equivalent At least 10 years experience in Climate Change activities, including high level negotiations Comprehensive knowledge of all activities related to Climate Change including scientific, institutional and financial issues Comprehensive knowledge of the Tanzanian and EAC contexts in the field of climate change and environment, and more generally on African issues and continental specificities Fluent in English, Kiswahili an asset

Expert 2 (Senior): Master Degree in the field of Environment and Climate Change, or equivalent At least 10 years experience in Climate Change activities, including high level negotiations Comprehensive knowledge of all activities related to Climate Change including scientific, institutional and financial issues Fluent in English, Kiswahili an asset.

Demonstrated knowledge in architecture and construction engineering (for one of the two experts or both) will be considered an asset.
