The JHESP Steering Committee is seeking a qualified director to manage and execute the project goals and objectives of transforming the Jackson Hole Community into a leader in energy efficiency and energy innovation. The Executive Director is a contract position that reports to the Chairman of the JHESP.
Total Compensation
$65,000 - $88,000 DOQ
Major Responsibilities Include
- Project management and implementation,
- Communication and engagement,
- Financial analysis and reporting,
- Coordination of JHESP Steering Committee,
- Coordination of the Friends of the JHESP.
Skills and Education Required
Any combination of education and experience providing the necessary skills and abilities is qualifying. Typical qualifications include:bachelor's degree (Masters Degree preferred) in a relevant field such as communication, public administration, business administration/management, finance, or environmental policy and four (4) years experience with increasing responsibilities in sustainable programs, project management, program coordination, government operations, cultural change initiatives, or public outreach. Ideal candidate will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, community engagement and outreach experience, experience in program management, budgeting, collaborative relationship building, and knowledge and experience in public policy process and political dynamics.
