Greenpeace carries out its work with the conviction that non-violent direct action and political lobbying can bring about change for a better world.

Our campaigns are funded exclusively by private donations from members and supporters. Greenpeace currently has nearly 3 million members worldwide. Working with its supporters, Greenpeace battles the increasing destruction of the environment.
