We are looking for an Assistant to our European Vice President Sales & Marketing to support our team in the European Head Office in Schaffhausen.
Key responsibilities
- Diary management
- Email triage
- Travel administration, booking and planning business trips and follow up expense reports
- Operational support for pre and post customer meetings
- Meeting preparation and follow up for internal and external meetings as well as telephone conferences
- Creation of powerpoint presentations as well as internal & external communication in German and English
- Organisation of quarterly European sales team meeting; including creating agenda, minutes, actions and follow up
- Support with team performance reviews, key performance indicator (KPI) management
- Expense and invoice management
- General administrative support and deadline monitoring
Who we are looking for
You must be able to demonstrate that you are highly organised, can work independently and take initiative and ownership for your area of responsibility. Your past experience will have given you first class communication skills and proven your attention to structure and detail. You will enjoy dealing with people of all levels internally as well as with external customers. In a high energy, fast paced and achievement orientation environment, you need to be flexible and enjoy solving a variety of challenges and issues.
Requirements
- Pro-Active, flexible, analytical, well organised, self sufficient working style in "start up" environment with a reliable and get-it-done mentality
- 10 years proven track record in comparable position (confidentiality, seniority)
- Stress resistant, strong international/cultural and assertive character
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focused attitude
- MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Fluent English and German required
- Other languages could be of benefit (Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese)
