ABOUT THE ROLE Key tasks for the Events Assistant will include: Assisting the Global Events Manager in maintaining an overview of all Climate Group events and communication internationally Assisting in reviewing TCG event proposals and developing strategies for TCG events and event leads Ensuring events are coordinated to make best use of internal resources and opportunities Upkeep of TCG events intranet site and TCG event calendar Ensuring relevant teams and key personnel are aware and involved where appropriate in the events Ensuring events are appropriately branded and communicated Effectively managing TCG events Inviting and informing the right groups of stakeholders Sourcing and liaising with suppliers; Vendor database development and upkeep Collating information for delegate packs Booking all travel and accommodation for the events Overseeing venues, ensuring all set ups are correct Collating final information, including agendas, guest list, speaker presentations, speaker biographies and sponsor information Collating all delegate questionnaires and follow-up on comments where required Attending and assisting at TCG events as and when required General administrative assistance to the Event Team including scheduling regular meetings involving all international event staff; taking and distributing meeting minutes This is not an exhaustive list and there may be other duties that will be required from time to time ABOUT YOU You will be team oriented and personable, comfortable working with senior representatives of business and government. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you are highly motivated, a self-starter with experience of managing multiple events. A sound knowledge of all Microsoft packages is required, along with a minimum of 1 years experience in an events role. A relevant qualification is desirable but not essential. Experience in an international environment will be a particular asset for the role.
