Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic events and commercial assistant to join our friendly team.

About us

The Country Parks Team manages three stunning self-financing country parks in the South of Buckinghamshire.  Covering 850 acres, we attract one million visitors a year.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, engaging person who can communicate effectively to both adults and children and most importantly make things fun! You will support and deliver a wide range of events from teddy bears picnics, arts and crafts sessions and themed trails to open air cinema and our highly successful Forest School sessions.

As well as supporting the delivery of events you will create and collect events materials, maintain and clean events equipment, assist in the management of events booking and ensure events spaces and private hire spaces are clean and ready for use.

About you

This is a part time post working 22.2 hrs a week. You will need to be able to work Wednesday and Friday with the other hours being flexible. The post will require you to work during the school holidays and to work some weekend days as required to support events delivery.

This is a fixed term contract for 1 year but may be extended subject to future funding of the post.

Salary £16,851 - £17,778 pro rata

For any further questions you may have regarding the position please contact Tim Williams or Amanda Mulholland on 01753 511060.
