RSPB Fundraising Direct is looking for an Event Booker due to increased expansion to secure bookings for private sites and events for our fundraisers, so they can recruit members to the RSPB. You will be making outbound calls to supermarkets, shopping centres, garden centres etc. while trying to negotiate the site for free. There will also be general administration involved, such as writing confirmation letters and managing the internal database.
We are looking for applicants with a pleasant telephone manner, good customer service skills and are able to pro-actively self-manage.
The RSPB has set itself the goal of raising £1Billion pounds by 2020 to ensure that we are able to provide secure and safe habitats at one of our 200+ reserves for many of Britain's declining wildlife populations.
On top of providing a safe home for Britain's wildlife, the RSPB is involved with many projects both nationally and internationally that include educating Governments, Police, Farmers & Children about how they can help protect our wildlife. RSPB Fundraising Direct is the RSPB's own in-house Fundraising Agency set-up in 2009 to allow the RSPB to communicate with members of the general public in private site locations for example Shopping Centres, Supermarkets, DIY Stores, Pet Stores, Farmers Markets, Agricultural shows.
Due to our continued success and having already secured over 10,000 new RSPB members this year alone, we are looking to expand our teams further to help the RSPB ensure that it's able to undertake its vital conservation work.
