Description

My client is a leading utility scale solar developer specializing in ground mount PV plants.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for operations throughout the whole of Europe.

Responsibilities:-
• Lead and direct all operations in Europe
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans, forecasts and performance goals to achieve corporate objectives for products and services
• Develop and manage operating budgets
• Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements
• Interface between sales management, representatives, customers, and subcontractors to provide project direction and increase sales
• Demonstrate ability to lead European team towards results
• Conduct market analysis, feasibility and risk assessment studies on a daily basis
• Will be expected to proactively source new clientele and generate new revenue streams
• Negotiating terms and closing deals

Qualified to:
• Take decisions and execute activities within the framework of the agreed Marketing & Sales plan.

Education:
• Must have strong educational background, a degree is required.
• Technical Knowledge & Understanding

Core Requirements:-
• You will have at least 5 years of experience, with a track recording in driving sales
• You will have at least 2 years renewabale energy sales experience, with a track record in selling solar products( wafer, ingots, modules and/or inveters)
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
• Proven ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• Proven ability to manage and direct staff, including recruitment, selection and development to achieve company goals and objectives
• Demonstrate in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principals

General Requirements:-
• Ability to travel
• Proficient with making impactful presentations
• Ability to manage multiple projects in an environment of constantly changing priorities
• Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies

Communicates with:
• CEO to discuss operational sales results and issues and to review sales plan and implementation progress;
• Communication in French is required, Multiple languages are a big advantage

Key Skills:
• Solar PV, negotiations experience, sales experience, solar product (wafers, ingots, modules and/or inveters) sales experience and team leadership
