EU ETS Compliance Senior Consultant

A Tier 1 consultant is seeking a European Emissions compliance expert to join its advisory service.

We are looking for an EU ETS expert with in depth knowledge on the sector who can provide advisory services to energy intensive clients. Responsibilities will include projects such as strategic implementation in registering as a company under the European Carbon Compliance Scheme, to Trading and Marketing of Certified Emission Reduction credits, policies and legislation and CDM project finance/ investments.

Our client is a renowned Tier 1 consultancy, but prior consultation experience is not essential, rather is an in depth expertise gained from a carbon offsets focused industry.

Essential Requirements:

• 5 years minimum experience within the Emissions/ Carbon offset sector.
• Post graduate degree in a related subject is desirable
• Proven communication experience in the energy and environmental sector working with senior level clients.
• EU working eligibility.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Rigorous attention to detail.
• Strong team ethic and commercial awareness.
