EU Environmental Lawyer, London, £60-100,000This non-profit environmental firm is looking to recruit an experienced EU Environmental lawyer who has excellent knowledge of the EUETS regulations and low carbon policy and implications.Responsibilities include:
  • Advising clients on EU climate and energy issues
  • Legal analysis of all aspects of EU climate and environmental policy and regulations
  • Drafting of legal documents to support new EU Environmental proposals
  • High level of client interaction and structuring of documents to meet clients needs
Skills Required:
  • Excellent knowledge of European law and especially regulations and policy surrounding EUETS and Low Carbon initiatives
  • Excellent client facing skills
  • An LLM or equivalent
  • Experience of negotiating with clients and drafting documentations, ideally with regards to environmental law
