EU Agriculture Policy Officer, European Division, based in Brussels, Belgium
Salary: 3200 - 3500 EUR per month gross, depending on experience

BirdLife International Secretariat is the coordinating and servicing body of BirdLife International. The European Division is an international team of permanent staff who collectively provide a wide range of experience and skills within the fields of ornithology, conservation, management, fundraising, advocacy, communication, administration.
We are seeking an EU Agriculture Policy Officer for our European Division office based in Brussels. The post will help BirdLife Partners and the BirdLife Agriculture Task Force achieve the formulation and delivery of policy work on the Common Agricultural Policy in the EU and to represent BirdLife’s position at the Brussels institutions. He or she will deal with EU Agriculture policy and other related policies linked to agriculture and biodiversity.
The successful candidate will have a relevant university degree with good knowledge and relevant experience in political lobbying, especially in the field of agriculture and environment. She/he will have good familiarity with EU institutions, good knowledge of conservation issues and priorities, fundraising and campaigning experience, fluent English, good interpersonal and team working skills, willingness to travel extensively in Europe.
Reporting to the Head of EU Policy, you will work closely with Staff from BirdLife Partners and other regional Divisions and the headquarters in Cambridge (UK).
