Our client has more than 35,000 employees working in about 25 locations in 6 countries, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland, Mozambique and Zimbabwe and is current looking to add an Estate Manager/ Farm Manager to the staff compliment for the KZN Area.Requirements:· A BSc Agriculture (preferably majoring in Crop Production, Crop Protection, Soil Science)· Knowledge on irrigation techniques and processes· Hands-on experience with regards to farm management especially within sugar-cane farming· Ability to manage 200-300 skilled and semi-skilled labourers· Ability to step onto a farm and manage it immediately· Great communication and people skills· Computer Literacy Roles and Requirements:· Manage labour in a disciplined and effective way· Keep accurate records of all farming practices· Management to achieve targets and objectives· Dealing with professional from the supplier sector· Ensure that the irrigation system is running efficiently· Independently administrate the farm unit· Effectively coordinate and allocate all farm resources· Ensure that financial plans are adhered to· Ensure quality of the crops and yieldIf you feel that you suitably fit the above requirements and have experience in the roles stipulate then please forward a comprehensive CV to candicew@caenviro.co.za Please note that foreign candidates that apply should be in the possession of a valid South African Work Permit.
